Wizard Gold Farming Guide – 3 Wizard Gold Farming Tips for World of Warcraft

Everyone who plays World of Warcraft always needs more gold, and usually the best tips are the ones that are directly related to your character’s class, as each class is better at some things than others. So what I have put together for you here are some Mage gold farming tips.

Most of these gold making tips will work best if you are between 50 and 70 levels and you should be aware that many times gold farming tips do not work exactly the same on every server. Some item that could make me gold on my server’s auction house might be really cheap on yours. So adjust your game accordingly.

1. Do your daily missions

If your mage is already level 70, the best way to earn more gold, regardless of what type of mage you are, is to do your daily quests. You can make up to 25 Dailies per day for each of your characters. So if you have some alt. at level 70, make sure they run them too. Seriously, there is no easier way to make gold, so make sure you do!

2. Choose your profession wisely

For mages, herbalism and alchemy are a good combination and I think it’s more efficient for making gold than taking Enchantment with herbalism. The Herbalism/Alchemy combo gives you the skills to make potions and elixirs that you can sell. Jars also bring decent money. And you’ll be able to sell any of the herbs you’ve collected that you don’t need. Also, whenever you need some quick cash, just go out and collect herbs.

3. Good wizard grinding points

Netherstorm: Sunfury mobs drop some pretty good vendor crap, lots of netherweave, Sunfury markers, and green leaves. They are all easy to sell. Try to grind mobs near Manaforges for the best loot.

Other good places to grind for cash are the Scarlet Monastery, Legion Holds, and Dire Maul East. If you already have a flying mount, head to Elemental Plateau and grind primals, then sell them.
