Whether you live in Oman or have flown for a week or two, there is nothing more serene than traveling in Oman. The canvas that stretches out before you as you tour the surrounding towns makes each town worth visiting. Here are some popular places and things you might want to do while visiting Oman.

Everyone knows that hot springs are places visited by the richest and the poorest, but the interesting views from these places are well worth the trip. Many people, mostly Europeans, come to Oman to visit the numerous natural hot springs from the north to the south and even further as far east.

Take a saloon car and start your journey to Nakhal, here you will find market deals on Fridays and even more exciting things on the way. Leaving the city beyond the entrance, you will go in the direction of Rustaq. In pre-Roman times Rustaq was a capital city, but it is not in ruins. However, the fort located here is magnificent and the area also boasts hot springs.

If you don’t want to travel in this direction for a long time, you can choose to reverse the direction and take the road to Quriyat which starts at the Wadi Adai roundabout. Quiryat is located near the coast and is often a place for many to enjoy. Quriyat is located about ninety kilometers from Muscat, since it is a maritime city, there will be many things to do here. The fort that protects the coast of this small town is also very peculiar. If you have time, ask the locals how to get to Hail al Ghaf. The interesting part of this trip is that Hail al Ghaf is lush green. A great patch of color in the middle of the desert and so close to Quriyat!

Quriyat is almost a central city where you can spend the night, if you want to venture to other cities and towns by the sea. As fishing is a mainstay for many of Oceanside’s towns and cities, these day trips will offer highlights of these events upon arrival. Two other cities that you should consider visiting, because you will be very close to them in Quriyat, are Masarah and Wadi Daykah. These two are fishing villages, but they are worth a visit! The vibe and vibe of uniqueness makes them charming. In Wadi, there is an almost completed Damn, which may offer more interest and should be visited if you have time.

If you are looking for another day trip, you may want to consider going to Yeti and Sifah. Both are easy to venture from Muscat. Traditions vary here, from all aspects of the fishing industry to the quaint houses.

In all the cities of Oman you will find petrol pumps that offer toilets in the back of the establishments and cafes that offer soft drinks, sandwiches, tea and coffee. Most of the roads are in good condition, people are usually helpful and hospitable.
