Love success stories after a scam (2)

Tina (not her real name) is a 45-year-old divorced woman with adult children who already have a family of their own. She started looking for a date online to meet her emotional needs.

According to her, she wanted a partner and a soul mate with whom she could share her life together. She created a profile on one of the popular dating sites on the Internet and was soon contacted by a man claiming to be a professional, also divorced but in a workplace in Africa.

Well, to make a long story short, months later, the man had scammed her out of tens of thousands of dollars, who turned out to be one of the many scammers making the rounds on dating sites today.

He joined a support group for scammers and was soon able to move on from the ordeal. She gradually healed herself and began to meet other people in the group.

Soon, she began to help other people to also overcome the same experience that she had gone through. One of those people was a man named Ted (not his real name). He was a year older than her and lived in a town about three hours from her house. They began to correspond often and after a few weeks, they went on a date where they met in person for the first time.

The two hit it off immediately and became good friends. Within months of losing their money and their hearts to romance scams, Ted and Tina became engaged to be married. They are currently having the time of their lives.

Being scammed is not the end of life. You can always get over the sad experience and find love again. You shouldn’t let a scam experience sour you and keep you from finding love again. You just need to know the right people, and in no time, you’ll be over the scam. And better yet, you will find true love.
