Top WOTLK is starting a Death Knight Guide – Wrath of the Lich King Strategy and Leveling Guide

With all the buzz surrounding Wrath of the Lich King, the soon-to-be-released expansion for World of Warcraft, it’s no surprise that gamers around the world are trying to find out as much as they can about the game. Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the expansion would enhance the successes of The Burning Crusade. Better and more exciting gameplay, new environments to explore, and most importantly, new characters to play and meet are all on the menu for this new expansion. However, what has caught the attention of many is the announcement that the Dark Knights will appear as a hero class in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. If you’re as excited about this as I am, then you should know what it’s like to start a death knight. This way, once you get your hands on the expansion, you’ll know what to do to get your Death Knight.

There are several things to remember when starting a death knight. They are the following:

Players must unlock the Death Knight hero class to play the character. To do this, the player must already have a character whose levels are 55 or higher.

Players can (in the meantime) only have one Death Knight on each realm and on each account. Blizzard Entertainment has announced that this restriction may be eased in the future.

Death Knights are available to all races. Once a Death Knight is created, the player must complete a chain of quests that will teach the player how to harness the power of the Death Knight.

Once created, Death Knights will already have uncommon armor or equipment and a ready-made set of spells and abilities.

Death Knights, once created, also come with a set of weapons and other gadgets, such as two-handed swords and first aid.

The Necropolis in the Plaguelands in the East will be the spawn area for Death Knights. You will start in an area called Acherus: The Ebon Hold. In this area, players will find class-specific quests and trainers.

Once players have completed all the quests, their Dark Knights can travel to other locations. At the same time, equipment options will also be available, such as the choice between the Greataxe or the Greatsword of the Ebon Blade.

Starting a death knight sounds easy, right? Of course, we can expect Blizzard Entertainment to have a few surprises up its sleeve, and I know from experience that nothing in WoW is as simple and easy as it seems. Hopefully though, the Death Knight hero class and the entire Wrath of the Lich King expansion will really live up to the hype and hype surrounding it. Let’s all cross our fingers for now!
