New Zealand eagerly awaits the new Volvo C30

Come early part of the following year, 2007, New Zealanders will now be able to take a look and see for themselves the new Volvo C30.

What is the Volvo C30, you may ask?

Well, according to Volvo Cars CEO and President Fredrik Arp, “The new Volvo C30 is a cool car that targets young singles or couples with busy urban lives. These people prioritize emotion over design and driving characteristics, and this car is designed to suit your taste and lifestyle.”

Indeed, many customers in the automotive market would be clamoring to have a first-hand experience with this vehicle. Many have already seen it during its concept stage because the concept version of the Volvo C30 was shown a couple of months ago. And it has already captured the minds and attention of those who have seen it. According to auto experts, the Volvo C30 bears a strong resemblance to the Volvo Design Concept which has three doors and was first shown during the Detroit Auto Show this January.

Of course, it can be said that this vehicle is unique in its own way. It’s a combination of various automotive technologies and features that work in great synergy to give the vehicle a unique boost in appeal and performance. Of course, it would not come with the Volvo 260 series parts. It would come with its own auto parts and accessories that would give it a unique look.

The Volvo C30 is built on the C1 platform, which has been a good base for several Ford vehicles. In fact, this platform is also used by the Volvo S40 and Volvo V50, as well as the Ford Focus II and Ford C-Max. This platform has also been used by the new Mazda Mazda3 and the recently refreshed Land Rover Freelander. This just goes to show what kind of expectations you would have with this new one.

This September, the production version of the Volvo C30 would be presented to the public. The chosen event would be the Paris Motor Show. You would certainly be looking at a sports car that has two doors. There are four seats inside plus a glass tailgate that is sure to remind you of classic Volvos.
