How to Really Succeed in Network Marketing in Record Time

The first mistake many people make in network marketing/MLM is to think that it is not a business, that it is just a lucky thing like the lottery or Baba Ijebu. So they just put their money on the wish that their uplines or downlines do all the work for them and Bingo! They have made the money. “After all, it is very difficult to talk to people,” they say. While others think that once they join whatever network marketing program there is to join, all they will have to do is talk to as many people as possible and they will only get the Compensation/yummy financial reward package. While these second groups of people are occasionally successful, the first group will rarely make a dime on these shows.

The first groups of people are working against the very concept that network marketing is built on: hard work, great products, personal development, and more. You also don’t just join, pay your N50 entry fee, introduce your three required downlines, let them do the work for you, and Washington! In 2-3 months they have earned their cash rewards. That is not MLM. MLM is not an opportunity for you to get a lot of people to work for you and earn you commissions, a kind of monkey job bamboo cutting arrangement. NO! While the second group are like flying a plane with only one wing. Going out and looking for non-resisting people who say “sir, you’re bothering me” to talk about your opportunity is no longer the way to go. That’s the old school rule. The new rule of the School is that people beg you to tell them about your opportunity or sign up under you.

In order to achieve this, you must first realize that this is a business (a 6-figure income business) and treat it as such. Keep an inventory of your activities, create a budget, place ads, create end products/repeat sales pathways, calculate your profits, control your overhead costs, set up an R&D department, attend training, monitor and motivate your lines descendants (your sales force), etc. Every requirement that is necessary for a business to be successful is needed here. Even if your MLM/network marketing opportunity is a work at home business opportunity, you still need to do this to stay on track. MLM is like any other business of being your own boss and you can earn as much money as you want. It is a vehicle for financial freedom that can take you anywhere, like the other forex trading business takes you far or that other gallon in your own real estate business. You can earn millions, over and over again in just one year, also in any of the various MLM Opportunities that have come to Nigeria and that you stick with for a long time. You can also choose to work part time or full time.

And contrary to popular opinion, MLM works and it’s easy. It is the new millennium way of marketing goods and services efficiently. There are over 6 million people involved in MLM opportunities around the world. There are various people like Richard Brooke, Randy Gage, Milton Fogg, Mark Igbani, Ifeoma Ofili etc. who have built financial empires and achieved their dreams by relying solely on MLM/Network marketing. It bears repeating what I said at the beginning of this article, MLM is not a lottery, nor is it a let-me-try-my-luck-and-see-if-it-works thing. Start taking it on today as a business that you will be running part time or full time and every business comes with its own unique challenges that need to be overcome rather than escaped. You’ll be amazed at what this simple mindset will do for you. Yes! You’ll see friends, your dreams, money, success, and more in record time.

Second, and very succinctly. Train! Empower yourself and your downlines, sharpen your marketing edge. -marketing you. Know that most of the old ways of prospecting are dead today and for you to be successful in MLM today, you must be alive and heading into the “future”. This is the 21st century, man! Integrate internet marketing into your MLM opportunity like the GSMmoneymaker club did, get a radio or TV show and educate people on what MLM means and what it doesn’t. Do something new and different that will make people practically beg to sign up with you. it is a business

As Robert Kiyosaki once said “the rich seek and build networks, others seek work”. Also, he writes in his book guide to investing “network marketing is an ASSET that you can pass on to your children’s children.”
