It’s getting pretty hard to find someone’s cell phone number, even if you know them well. I don’t even know my friends’ phone numbers anymore, that’s what my $400 cell phone is for haha!

And, of course, my cell phone took a bath late, late at night. Turn my Blackberry into an expensive paperweight and send all my phone numbers to the bottom of the lake.

I thought I had backed up all the phone numbers, but when I went to look up a phone number in my email, I saw that my list of numbers was only half full. Yuck! What bread!

I started calling my friends (the numbers I had at least) asking for phone numbers. But I could only find a few.

And since I live on the US-Canada border, phone books were next to useless, especially since 90 percent of my friends use cell phones that aren’t listed in the phone books. So, for a day or two, I emailed the friends whose info I had (most of my emails sank to the bottom of the lake, too), then gave up and waited for people to call. me. Some did, but even a week after messing up my phone, I only had about two-thirds of my old numbers.

So, I redoubled my efforts and turned to the internet to find a cell phone number finder online.

At first, I found a lot of websites that looked really suspicious, but with a bit of work I started to find services that looked professional. I plugged in my credit card and started looking for friends who had my other friends’ phone numbers. It worked like a charm, I was really surprised how easy it was to find mobile phone numbers online, it was a bit scary!

I used this cell phone number finder that said it uses public records to find numbers. It was pretty simple, I could even see if my friends had money problems! They didn’t, but it was kind of fun to watch haha!
