I was on the phone with one of my best male friends named Dan. He is 28 years old and I am only a few years older than him. Now, since I’ve known Dan (about 4 years), he has always told me that his goal in life is to get a trophy wife. He wants to be 40 years old with the hot 20 year old girlfriend and eventually marry her too.

We broached the topic of younger men taking an interest in me, and of course that led me to ask him if he had ever dated an older woman. She told me that she did it a few years ago. Naturally, he was curious about her reasons for dating older women.

4. Your children are now adults or at least old enough to stay home without a babysitter.

5. Sex is awesome! (Okay, you saw it coming.) According to Dan, older women are less inhibited and more mature when it comes to sexual experiences. They are not afraid to tell you what they like and how to do it. Their body image tends to be much more positive and they show confidence in the bedroom. His appetite for sex is also insatiable. It’s no exaggeration that older women crave sex more often and this is mainly because they reach their sexual peak later in life. This is the reason why young men and older women come together sexually.

6. They are less likely to get pregnant. Older women are smart about protecting themselves from STDs and getting pregnant and aren’t ashamed to provide their own condoms.

7. Older women don’t nag you to marry them. Sure, many older women want to settle down and get married, but they don’t feel the rush of the body clock as much as women in their 20s.
