2018 SZN Fantasy Football Draft

Fantasy Footballers 2018 Preliminary Tips For Hardcore Newbies!

Welcome fantasy football fans! The start of another wonderful NFL season is right around the corner, which means it’s close to #draftszn. After 6 long months, it’s time to get back that damn gold trophy that was taken from you while you were crossing the goal line like classic Leon Lett…

But hey, no reason to be bitter, I’d rather learn how to get better at this fickle game… It doesn’t matter if it’s online or in real life at a live draft event, it’s time to rock. some gold and talk some poop to your neighbor.

Below are three ways to better defeat your fantasy football opponent starting with the first test: fantasy drafting!

Tip #1 Write the safe bet. High-risk, high-reward players are tempting, but they are not necessary because if the player is a flop, it will be difficult to recover from the bet you took, especially in the first round. Also, the player who averages 1,000 yards overall and 5 TDs per year will be better than a player who rushed for 1,300+ yards and 9 TDs in 2017, but is typically under 1,000 yards. The name of the game is value, playa!

Tip #2 Don’t be cute. Picture this: It’s your third pick and you’ve knocked it out of the park with your first two picks so far, although a bell runner is still sitting there in the third round, sadly you’ve already taken two running backs, right? Shall we take the bait? At the very least, we can replace the bye weeks of your current starters, right? Nope! It’s a trap! Take your WR1 because at the end of the day, you already filled those spots, fill the rest…

Another reason could be to recruit a third broker early, have a trade bait later, but you are losing value in other positions and often won’t find a suitable trading partner. Focus first on filling the gaps in your roster, and then add depth to your bench.

Tip #3 Lego your ego. Spit on your game, talk your trash while watching football, but don’t let certain players pass you by because you hate that team. I’m a Raiders fan, but I won’t pass up a guy like Keenan Allen, who plays for the arch-rivals Los Angeles Chargers, if he’s a good move.

These are just a few tips that will make you a fantasy league champion in no time!

Project well my friend.
