Panasonic and their TXP42V10 model have a wonderful feature called Viera Cast, a feature that many consumers will love. This is Panasonic’s answer to accessing the Internet directly through your TV. The remote will immediately take you to Panasonic’s own portal, where you can choose from an ever-increasing amount of Internet content. They will eventually add more content that you will be able to access in the future.

A couple of notable things that you can access on the internet with the Panasonic TXP42V10 are YouTube and its videos and Picasa photo sharing website and you can also get stock reports along with weather reports and other stuff. In its current state, Viera Cast won’t let anyone give up their computers just yet. But the idea behind it is good.
