There is, however, an interim final rule in place that requires any company applying for a license to include this substance on their labels. While the final rule may not affect publicly accessible brands, it is unlikely that delta-8 thc will remain on the final list, if the government is not able to regulate the plant and eliminate its use as a precursor to marijuana.
